Job summary
Job description: ACE Vaughan Tennis Academy is seeking a part-time Fitness Coach to work with our Junior Academy athletes. This role focuses on developing age-appropriate athleticism, movement quality, strength, coordination, and injury prevention for junior players across multiple stages of development. The Fitness Coach will work collaboratively with the Academy Director and Head Coaches to ensure fitness programming aligns with on-court goals and supports long-term athlete development. Compensation & Opportunities Competitive hourly rate, based on experience and qualifications Consistent part-time hours through junior programming Opportunity to work within a structured, high-performance academy environment Potential for expanded responsibilities and hours Key Responsibilities Deliver structured fitness sessions for Junior Academy players Design and implement age-appropriate warm-ups, movement training, and conditioning Support injury prevention, mobility, coordination, and overall athletic development Collaborate with Academy Director and Head Coaches on programming goals Adapt fitness content to support tennis-specific movement and performance Maintain a positive, professional, and development-focused environment Monitor athlete engagement and progression alongside coaching staff Qualifications Background in fitness, kinesiology, sport science, or related field Experience working with youth or adolescent athletes (tennis or sport-specific experience preferred) Strong understanding of movement fundamentals and athletic development Ability to work collaboratively within a coaching team Reliable, organized, and professional CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) How to Apply Please email your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience working with youth athletes to [email protected] Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
