About this position: What you’ll do: * Under the direction of the Cook, assists in preparation all foods required as per daily production schedules and catering events * Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of food production areas, equipment and kitchen, as per the sanitation plan and signs off mandatory records of completed work * Employs Food Safe including Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), protocols in all areas of work and follows the food safety plan What you’ll need: * Experience assisting in the preparation of meals in a health care environment preferred * Awareness of provincial health and safety regulations * Ability to effectively organize work to respond to needs of a high volume environment * Good communication of English both orally and in writing; * Food Safe - Level I certification required Perks & Benefits * Job variety, no two days will be the same * Amazing residents with rich life stories * Competitive salary and benefits Internal Closing Date: June 30th, 2026 Members of equity-seeking groups are encouraged to apply Union membership is a condition of employment.
