This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual passionate about retail management and team development to make a positive impact in a fast-paced setting. The Supervisor will assist in leading our Sales Associates and Shipper Receivers in providing world class customer service and assist the Liquor Store Manager with various human resources and payroll activities while following Serving it Right standards, training provincial legislation, company policies and procedures. *Duties* * Supervise daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory management * Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service and meet sales targets * Manage merchandising efforts by organizing product displays, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to maximize sales potential * Oversee purchasing decisions, stock replenishment, and vendor negotiations to ensure product availability and optimal inventory levels * Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales processing, returns, and reporting while ensuring accuracy in transactions * Handle payroll administration, scheduling, and performance evaluations to support team growth and retention * Maintain compliance with all legal regulations related to alcohol sales, including age verification and licensing requirements *Skills* * Proven supervisory experience in retail or similar environments with strong leadership capabilities * Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively train staff and engage customers in multiple languages if applicable * Strong organizational skills for managing inventory, scheduling, and administrative tasks efficiently * Proficiency in POS systems, bookkeeping, budgeting, and basic math for accurate cash handling and financial reporting * Skilled in negotiation with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable purchasing terms * Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly phone etiquette approach to resolve issues promptly * Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting * Knowledge of marketing strategies to promote store offerings and increase sales volume * Experience in recruiting, interviewing candidates, and developing team members through training & development initiatives * Familiarity with merchandising techniques, pricing strategies, and retail sales management principles Embark on this rewarding journey where your leadership fuels success!
