Your Opportunity: Description: As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. Classification: Licensed Practical Nurse Union: AUPE AUX Unit and Program: OR/Acute Care Primary Location: Whitecourt Healthcare Centre Location Details: As Per Location Multi-Site: Not Applicable FTE: 0.50 Posting End Date: 27-AUG-2026 Temporary Employee Class: Temp P/T Benefits Date Available: 06-SEP-2026 Temporary End Date: 24-AUG-2027 Hours per Shift: 7.75 Length of Shift in weeks: 12 Shifts per cycle: 30 Shift Pattern: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends, On Call Days Off: As Per Rotation Minimum Salary: $33.16 Maximum Salary: $43.42 Vehicle Requirement: Not Applicable Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Additional Required Qualifications: Periop training an asset. Recovery Room or backfill if not Periop trained. Must be available for scheduled on call including evenings, weekends and holidays. Preferred Qualifications: As Required.

Requirements
