Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Additional Required Qualifications: Periop training an asset. Recovery Room or backfill if not Periop trained. Must be available for scheduled on call including evenings, weekends and holidays. Preferred Qualifications: As Required.

The LPN works within an interprofessional health care team to provide safe, high-quality, patient and family-centered care. Responsibilities include utilizing nursing processes and critical thinking to manage patients in OR and Acute Care settings.

Candidates must complete an accredited practical nurse education program and hold an active practice permit with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta. Current BCLS-HCP certification is required, and periop training is considered an asset.
