Monitor and document commercial fishing vessel offloads, identify landed species, and record weights in electronic systems and on paper. Monitor fishery regulation compliance and assist with biological sampling, piece counting, and halibut tagging.

Apply numbered tags to halibut tail fins and sample fish species for scientific monitoring, recording measurements and other data such as weight, length, and sex. Identify fish species and count fish using a tally counter while supporting dockside monitoring of commercial fisheries.
