Job summary

The CELPIP Test Centre Invigilator is responsible for assisting with test day check-in and overseeing test delivery under the supervision of the CELPIP Supervisor. We are looking for multiple people to invigilate weekly or occasionally at our North York Centre location. This includes 3 daily tests from Wednesday – Sunday: 8 am – 12 pm, 12 – 4 pm, and 4 – 8 pm. Key Duties and Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and maintenance of the testing area. Assist with test taker check-in. Escort test takers to and from workstations on arrival, departure, or breaks. Guide test takers through a microphone check. Identify technical errors and assist test takers with technical issues. Respond to test taker queries without betraying correct answers. Enforce rules, monitor, report, and address test taker misconduct. Collect and store test-related materials at the end of the test session. Be vigilant throughout the test sittings. Education And Experience Fluency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing English Minimum of 2 years post-secondary education or equivalent work experience Competencies Professionalism and confidentiality Ability to interact with diverse test-taker population Ability to maintain composure under pressure Basic computer skills and knowledge Dependability, reliability, and punctuality Attention to detail Physical Demands Occasionally lift/move items up to 10 pounds Frequent sitting while monitoring tests
