Provincial Court judges and judicial justices preside over the majority of court cases in British Columbia, hearing criminal, family, youth, civil claims, traffic, and municipal by-law matters in nearly 90 locations across the province. Integrated Judicial Services plays a vital role in supporting judges and judicial justices through administrative services and scheduling, helping ensure fair, timely, and accessible justice for all British Columbians. The Court’s administrative headquarters is located at the Office of the Chief Judge in downtown Vancouver. Senior Judicial Administrative Assistants (SR JAAs) provide highly confidential administrative support to Regional Administrative Judges (RAJs), Local Liaison Judges (LLJs), and Provincial Court Judges (PCJs).
