Role Description The Production Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Richmond, BC. This role supports the end-to-end production of awards and plaques, including preparing materials, operating basic equipment, and assisting with engraving, assembly, and packaging. The Production Assistant helps maintain quality standards by inspecting finished products, checking for accuracy, and ensuring items meet customer specifications. Day-to-day tasks include organizing orders, labeling and tracking inventory, keeping the production area clean and safe, and collaborating with team members to meet deadlines. The role also involves occasional customer-facing support, such as clarifying order details with the customer service team to ensure prompt and accurate delivery. Qualifications Strong Production Assistance skills, including handling materials, following work orders, and supporting equipment operation. Attention to detail and Quality Control abilities to inspect products, verify engravings, and ensure consistent standards. Customer Service and communication skills to coordinate order details and support a positive client experience. Editing skills for reviewing text on plaques, awards, and certificates for spelling, formatting, and accuracy. Teamwork skills to collaborate with coworkers, share responsibilities, and contribute to a cooperative production environment. Basic computer skills for accessing order systems and updating production records. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderately heavy items, and work safely with tools and materials. Previous experience in manufacturing, printing, engraving, or a related production environment is an asset. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in fabrication or design is an advantage.

Supports the end-to-end production of awards and plaques through material preparation, equipment operation, engraving, assembly, and packaging. Maintains quality standards by inspecting finished products and coordinating with the customer service team to ensure order accuracy.

Requires strong attention to detail, production assistance skills, and basic computer literacy. Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, lift moderately heavy items, and ideally have experience in manufacturing or engraving.
