Job summary

Play while you work! Join the Ski & Board School team at Big White Ski Resort and be a part of one of the largest programs in Western Canada. We offer a positive working environment, staff incentives, training programs that are second to none, and a guaranteed winter of great times working and playing on almost 3,000 acres of patrolled terrain. Currently seeking CANSI Level 1 - 3 (or international equivalent) instructors who are who are available for the full winter season (approximately the beginning of December until early April). Part-time Nordic Instructor positions are available, as well as a limited number of full-time positions for people who are also certified to teach skiing and snowboarding. To be considered, all applicants must submit a resume with at least two contactable references, and provide a copy of any relevant current certifications. Previous cross country instructing experience and experience working in organized settings are definite assets. A recent criminal record check is required prior to starting the first day of work. Physical demands: * Ability to carry 40lbs/18kg while skiing/riding * Ability to assist a fallen skier back onto their feet * Ability to lift 40lbs/18kg * Ability to cross country ski for 4-5 hours a day Pay rate: Dependent upon certifications, starting wage of Level 1 is $20.50 per hour plus incentive bonuses

Requirements
