Job summary

Position Summary Reporting to the Clinical Manager, Emergency Services, the successful applicant must meet the following criteria: Mandatory Qualifications Current certificate of registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario 2 years of acute care experience within the last 5 years required Current B.C.L.S. Certificate Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation Certification (or will obtain within 6 months of employment) Preferred Qualifications Current PEARS Certificate Mandatory Competencies Excellent conflict resolution skills Excellent patient assessment skills, successful completion of the Patient Assessment course an asset Excellent communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and time management skills Proven ability to organize workload in a fast paced constantly changing environment Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professionalism in nursing Able to perform venipuncture, 12/15 Lead ECG Meditech experience Demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and experience in patient education Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team Must be able to function within your full scope of practice as an RPN

Requirements
