Qualifications Required: Ontario College of Nurses registration Ability to work at full scope of practice Coronary Care 1 Course or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire 2 years recent acute care nursing experience Excellent organizational and patient assessment skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills with patients, families and other healthcare professionals Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and interpersonal skills Commitment to continuing education and professional development Participation in quality improvement initiatives on the unit Recent satisfactory performance and attendance records Demonstrate, promote and encourage Brightshores’ values – We Show Up for Each Other, We Are Trusted to Act, We Create Solutions Together, We Strive for Better, We Share Accountability Advocates and supports a culture of patient safety and demonstrates an understanding of how the department service and assigned responsibilities contribute to overall patient safety at Brightshores through patient safety knowledge, skills and attitudes Comply with all applicable health and safety policies, procedures and regulations, and actively contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment

Requirements
Candidates must be registered with the Ontario College of Nurses and possess two years of recent acute care nursing experience. A Coronary Care 1 Course is required or must be obtained within six months of hire.
