Position Overview As a Medical Laboratory Technologist with Calian, you will be working in the laboratory at CFB Borden. In this role you will enjoy the benefits of working with an established team of professionals, whose goal is to support the health and wellbeing of the Canadian Armed Forces military service members. This is a part-time role: Monday to Tuesday, 7:30am to 4pm. Have questions? Interact with patients, provide instructions, and ensure proper specimen collection and integrity. Perform venipuncture and operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments. Qualifications Education: Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized institution. Professional Memberships: Active membership with the CSMLS or CMLTO. Two Years of Full-Time Experience in the Last Five Years: Performing Hematology, Urinalysis, Chemistry, and Phlebotomy. Must be comfortable with drawing blood from patients Security Requirement: Ability to obtain Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level. The Medical Laboratory Technologist will conduct diagnostic procedures and ensure the integrity of specimen collection. They are also responsible for performing venipuncture and maintaining laboratory instruments within a military healthcare setting.

Candidates must hold a diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology and maintain active membership with CSMLS or CMLTO. A minimum of two years of full-time experience in hematology, urinalysis, chemistry, and phlebotomy is required.
