About The Role Calian is currently looking for a bilingual social worker for an opportunity at CFB Ottawa to provide mental health support to active members of the Canadian Armed Forces. Join this mental health team and work within a mental health team composed of psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, mental health nurses, addiction counselors, and social workers. Responsibilities Provide individual, family, and crisis or emergency assessments. Perform psychosocial and mental health interventions such as individual, family, or group assessments, treatment planning, and therapy, followed by treatment evaluation and therapeutic outcomes assessment. Analyze clients’ needs and provide them and their families with information and advice regarding access to appropriate services and resources. Present the client’s case with recommendations to interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop an individualized treatment plan. Participate in the delivery of multidisciplinary care by ensuring clients receive the treatments and services prescribed by the multidisciplinary team and monitor clients’ progress. Facilitate educational activities and group interventions such as pre-deployment briefings, presentations, and group psycho-educational sessions. Provide clinical advice, within the scope of social work practice, to other healthcare providers. Qualifications Bilingualism in English and French is required. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social work. Member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Must have at least three years of full-time experience in clinical social work activities with adults, such as intake and assessment, crisis intervention, outreach, psychosocial assessment, and treatment planning in an adult mental health care setting. CPR / AED – Level C or willingness to obtain CPR certification. Additional Information Part-time, 7.5 hours/week – 7.5 hours/day. Clinic hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Effectuer des interventions psychosociales et de santé mentale telles que l’évaluation individuelle, familiale ou collective, la planification du traitement et la thérapie, suivies de l’évaluation du traitement et des résultats thérapeutiques. Analyser les besoins des clients et leur fournir des informations et des conseils sur eux et leurs familles concernant l’accès aux services et ressources appropriés. Présenter le cas du client avec des recommandations aux équipes interdisciplinaires de soins de santé pour élaborer un plan de traitement individualisé. Participer à la prestation de soins multidisciplinaires en veillant à ce que les clients reçoivent les traitements et les services prescrits par l’équipe multidisciplinaire et surveiller les progrès des clients. Faciliter les activités éducatives et les interventions de groupe telles que les briefings préalables au déploiement, des présentations et des séances psycho-éducatives de groupe. Fournir des conseils cliniques, dans le cadre du champ d’exercice du travail social, à d’autres fournisseurs de soins de santé. Qualifications Le bilinguisme en anglais et en français est requis. Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en travail social. Membre en règle de l’Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et des techniciens en travail social de l’Ontario. Doit avoir au moins trois années d’expérience à temps plein dans des activités cliniques liées au travail social telles que l’admission et l’évaluation, l’intervention en cas de crise, la sensibilisation, l’évaluation psychosociale et la planification de traitement dans un milieu de soins de santé mentale pour adultes. RCR / DEA – niveau C ou la volonté d’obtenir une certification en RCR. Informations supplémentaires A temps partiel, 37,5 heures/semaine – 7,5 heures/jour. Les heures de la clinique sont du lundi au vendredi, de 7h30 à 16h00. Pas de soirées ni de week-end!
