Level: As per the UNIFOR Collective Agreement. Pay Rate: Starting at $21.50 CAD per hour as per the UNIFOR Collective Agreement. The successful candidate will also receive a Northern Living Allowance of $9.13 CAD per hour. In addition, candidates fluent in Inuktut will receive a language premium of $2.00 CAD per hour. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be able to perform, but not be limited to, the following duties and responsibilities: * Maintain records as required and disseminate information; * Record flight arrival and departing times; * Conduct radio communications with the aircraft; * Process weight and balance and load control data; * Process shipment and reception of all cargo; * Perform load service duties; * Handle all cargo; * Provide services to the aircraft on the ground as required; * Perform all warehouse related duties; * Perform commissary duties; * Assist with reconfiguration of aircraft as required; * Assist passengers with mobility and special needs; * Assist with claims for damaged or missing goods; * Process passengers and baggage; * Make reservations and compute fares; * Issue tickets/airway bills and process sales reports for deposit; * Assemble, control and transmit reservations and passenger data; * Administer Interline and employee travel both business and pleasure; * Other duties as assigned. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Include, but not limited to, the following minimum skills and qualifications: * Must have completed grade 10 or have equivalent job experience in the related areas: warehouse, customer service, etc; * Demonstrated customer service skills; * Ability to obtain a dangerous goods handling certificate; * Ability to obtain an Airside Vehicle Operators Permit (AVOP); * Ability to communicate in Inuktitut a definite asset; Accommodation During the Recruitment Process Canadian North is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible workplace. Shift schedules will be bid in order of seniority. As a result, we cannot provide you with a schedule around your current job, school schedule, activities, etc. You are however able to shift trade with your colleagues, but you are responsible for the shifts that you are scheduled. The Station Agent is responsible for loading and offloading cargo, managing passenger check-in and boarding, and providing ground services to aircraft. They also maintain flight records, process cargo shipments, and handle customer communications and ticketing.

Candidates must have completed grade 10 or possess equivalent experience in warehouse or customer service roles. The ability to obtain dangerous goods handling and airside vehicle operator permits is required.
