We can’t wait to meet you! POSITION SUMMARY: The Retail Warehouse Associate will be primarily responsible for receiving deliveries, inventory put away, picking/packing orders and shipment processing. In addition the incumbent will assist the Warehouse Supervisor in maintaining inventory accuracy by performing inventory audits and cycle counts. Additional duties include assisting with Game Day preparations and product restock both before and during events. A typical shift includes: * Receiving deliveries in a timely manner; all incoming product must be counted in, labeled, and stored * Picking, packaging, and shipping of merchandise required for Team Store Locations, or special requirements such as jersey cresting and vendor returns * Performing transactions in the Inventory Management System through manual entry or scanners * Assisting the Warehouse Supervisor in maintaining an organized and clean warehouse space * Ensuring ongoing communication with the Warehouse Supervisor for daily tasks, incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory movement and other administrative duties * Assisting with keeping warehouse records and documentation organized and accurate * Assisting the Warehouse Supervisor in performing ongoing cycle counts and semi-annual inventory audits * Providing guidance to the receiving team on basic receiving duties * Communicating with Retail Administrator when discrepancies in shipment occur * Coordinating inter-store and warehouse transport of product and other retail needs between locations * Assisting with Sustainability measures through re-use and recycling of packaging materials * Assisting with Game Day preparations and product restock both before and during events REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: * Minimum of 1 year in a warehouse environment, preferably in retail operations * Familiarity with Inventory Management Systems and experience using warehouse mobile equipment * Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment * Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and detail-oriented * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills * An ability to lift more than 50 pounds, and to stand for the majority of the day * Must have own steel toe work boots * Valid BC Driver’s License, in good standing and without restrictions * Must be available to work weekdays, and some weekends and evenings as required * Non-Canadian residents must hold a valid work permit with a minimum of 8 months of validity remaining * This is an onsite role at Rogers Arena in downtown Vancouver Vancouver is one of the most diverse cities in the world and Canucks Sports & Entertainment strives to create a workforce that is inclusive, equitable, and represents our beautiful, unique community.
