Job Opportunity Req ID: 1924 Business Unit: Parks Recreation and Environmental Services Division: Panorama Recreation Regular / Auxiliary: Auxiliary Job Type: Auxiliary (anticipated part-time schedule) Pay Grade: CAN/05/02/JB08 Rate of Pay: $31.66 - $31.66 per hour plus 15% in lieu of benefits Hours of Work: 8-20 hours bi-weekly, September-June, including evenings and weekends. Continued hours may be available July-August, pending scheduled programming and applicant availability. Posting Date: June 1, 2026 Closing Date: Review of applications will commence June 17th - posting will remain open until filled SUMMARY This position provides direct instruction and leadership of private and group tennis lessons to adults, youth and/or children at Panorama Recreation. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Provides direct instruction and leadership of tennis lessons, skill clinics and group programs to adults, youth and/or children * Plans and delivers engaging tennis lessons with a tactical or technical focus * Prepares equipment necessary for instruction prior to the start of the session * Tailors drills as needed to ensure inclusion and engagement of all participants in group programs. * Ensures clear and respectful communication with players, parents/guardians, co-workers and supervisor(s) * Provides excellent service to both internal and external customers * Maintains a clean and safe environment * Keeps accurate attendance records * Follows of policies, procedures and standards of the CRD * Other related duties as required ADDITIONAL INFORMATION * None KEY SKILLS & ABILITIES * Minimum level of play: 4.5 * Ability to increase/decrease the difficulty of drills to customize lessons. * Possess the playing, demonstration and feeding abilities to work with players up to a 4.5 level QUALIFICATIONS * High School Graduation * A minimum of 3 years' directly related experience CERTIFICATIONS * Acceptable criminal record check. Requirements

Requires a high school diploma, a Tennis Canada Club Pro 1 certificate, and at least 3 years of related experience. Must possess a minimum playing level of 4.5 and hold Standard First Aid and CPR-C certifications.
