What You Bring… Successful completion of Food Service Worker Certificate and Food Handler Training Program (or commitment to obtain within a specified period, as required under the Fixing Long Term Care Homes Act and its Regulations) Must be willing to accept verbal and/or written direction Able to cope with the physical and emotional demands of the position Geriatric, long-term care experience is beneficial Experience in long-term care food service is an asset, including texture-modified diets, therapeutic and production spreadsheets Good communication skills, able to read and write in the English language Punctual and reliable The starting rate of pay is $20.70 per hour, and the terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
