Primary Objective of the Position: Safe and timely processing of Cargo and aircraft loading/offloading within prescribed parameters. Essential Position Functions: * Loading/offloading of aircrafts and trucks. * Operating ground support equipment. * Repeated and continuous lifting of packages up to 60lbs. * Sort packages based on customer, airport of destination, and other parameters. * Communicate piece counts, and package information to Lead Hands, and Supervisors. * Handle customer packages, and freight with due care and attention. * Ensure all safety and security protocols are adhered to. * Perform general housekeeping duties as required. * Perform tasks associated with Dangerous Goods Handling/Acceptance. * Meet time-sensitive deadlines for freight build-up/breakdown as part of a team dynamic. * Learn and apply specific training modules required for the position (WHMIS, SMS, Dangerous Goods, Hazard Prevention, etc.…). * Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions. * Working in and around aircraft daily. Minimum Qualifications: * High School Graduate or equivalent experience. * Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence or equivalent. * Ability to obtain a RAIC pass (Transport Canada Security Clearance). * Ability to lift up to 60lbs repeatedly. * Ability to work within a “team first” environment, and complete common goals within time-sensitive deadlines. * Excellent punctuality, and attendance habits. * Ability to learn quickly, and adapt to fast-changing customer requirements. * Willingness to take direction with a keen interest in further development within the local operation. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Flexible to work shift work, weekends and stat holidays. * Be willing to be subject to a background check; clearance is required. * Be willing to work outside. Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Class 5 driver's license. You must be able to lift up to 60lbs repeatedly and obtain a Transport Canada security clearance (RAIC).
