Conduct interviews, interact live with hosts and guests, develop original story ideas, and provide editorial guidance to reporters.

Create live captions for broadcasts using voice recognition software, adapting and summarizing spoken content to meet French-language captioning standards. Cue caption sources for broadcast, report technical issues, maintain voice profiles and dictionaries, research upcoming content, and train or support colleagues.

Coordinate and execute broadcast playout and continuity for Radio-Canada networks, ensuring scheduled programs and related elements are available, accurate, and distributed to quality standards. Operate and troubleshoot broadcast systems and equipment, manage schedule changes and emergencies, and communicate irregularities and relevant updates to internal teams and affiliates.
