CAC is participating in the Alberta Youth Incentive Program which supports hiring youth from the ages 15-24. Position: Bakery Clerk Availability: Weekdays and weekends, afternoons, and evenings. Casual: Less than 24 hours per week Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service Package and label bakery products for sale Perform tasks such as slicing bread, frying donuts, utilizing ovens Assist in production as directed by bakers Stock shelves and pull freezer products as needed Assist in setting up products for the following day Maintain a clean and safe work environment Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager Qualifications Excellent communication skills Strong organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Team player with the ability to work independently Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required Prior experience in a bakery setting is an asset; however, training is available Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required.)
