Plan and teach the required subjects for a Grade 3/4 class, using balanced literacy and numeracy instruction, assessment data, and differentiated approaches to address students’ academic and social-emotional needs. Establish effective classroom routines and relationships, support student well-being and social responsibility, and collaborate with students, families, staff, and administration to advance school learning goals.

Assess students with diverse and complex learning needs, develop and oversee competency-based individualized education plans, and provide direct instruction and intervention. Coordinate inclusive support services, collaborate with school and community partners, and support teachers, educational assistants, students, and families.

Teach a balanced Grade 6–8 music program, including band and choir, across a range of genres and instruments, and create opportunities for students to perform at school and community events.
