The Chinook School Division is proud to serve approximately 6000 students in 60 schools, with over 1,000 collegial and student centered teachers and support staff. Chinook, encompassing an area of 42 750 square kilometres, is the second largest school division in the province. Situated in beautiful Southwestern Saskatchewan, its geographical boundaries begin 80 kilometres east of Swift Current and include the United States border to the south, the Alberta border to the west and the Saskatchewan River to the north. We are known for our geographical wonders, our friendly communities, and our innovation and leadership in education. Located within our Division are the Cypress Hills and Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Parks, the Great Sand Hills, Scotty the T-Rex, and the Grasslands National Park. Historical sites across the region will take you back to Chief Sitting Bull, the forming of the North West Mounted Police and the building of Fort Walsh. The teacher will deliver instruction in senior humanities, including High School ELA and other subjects, as well as middle years classes. They are responsible for creating a welcoming, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment for students at Fox Valley School.

The Educational Assistant supports students' educational programs through one-on-one and classroom assistance, including speech, motor, and social skill development. They collaborate with a team to implement Individual Improvement Plans and attend to students' health and hygiene needs.

The teacher will provide elementary Pre-K instruction in a student-centered learning environment. Responsibilities include fostering a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere and building productive relationships with students, parents, and community agencies.
