Responsibilities Conduct regular foot patrols of assigned properties and facilities Monitor access points and control site entry and exit Provide excellent customer service to visitors, clients, and staff Observe and report suspicious activity, incidents, and safety concerns Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs Respond to emergencies and security-related situations as required Ensure compliance with site procedures and security protocols Support a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants Utilize computer systems for reporting and data entry tasks Communicate effectively with supervisors, emergency services, and stakeholders Requirements Must Have Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong written report writing abilities Physical capability to perform extensive foot patrols Skilled in the use of computer applications, including data entry Ability to work all shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record High School Diploma or GED equivalent Nice to Have Previous security experience Customer service experience in a public-facing role Experience working in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with incident reporting systems Benefits Flexible part-time and casual scheduling opportunities Ongoing training and professional development Career advancement opportunities within Paladin Security Supportive team environment Opportunity to gain valuable security industry experience Work with one of Canada's leading security organizations
