This is a part-time role with the potential to grow into a full-time position. The ideal candidate brings strong retail liquor knowledge, sales experience, and a customer-first attitude. A background in WSET (Level 2 or 3) is highly valued. *Key Responsibilities:* * Engage customers with expert wine recommendations based on taste, budget, and occasion * Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store * Assist with receiving and restocking inventory * Operate POS systems and process transactions efficiently * Promote weekly features and in-store promotions * Support the team in delivering a premium customer experience *Qualifications:* * Strong wine, spirits, and beer knowledge (WSET candidates will have a strong preference) * Retail sales experience, ideally in liquor or specialty retail * Serving It Right certification (required) * Comfortable lifting boxes and standing for extended periods * Friendly, professional, and reliable *Availability Requirements:* * Must be available evenings and weekends * Minimum of *two shifts per week from Friday?Sunday* *Perks & Benefits:* * Competitive hourly wage ($20?$25/hr, with potential for more based on experience and credentials) * Dental benefits * 20% staff discount on all in-store items * Opportunities for wine and spirits education and career growth in the industry Job Type: Part-time Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * On-site parking * Store discount Flexible language requirement: * French not required Shift: * 8 hour shift * Evening shift Work days: * Every Weekend * Holidays Experience: * Retail sales: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: * Serving It Right (required) Work Location: In person
