OUR ROLE We are in search of a warm, friendly, courteous, and professional Valet Parking Attendant, responsible for greeting guests upon their arrival and providing customer service excellence by parking and retrieving guest vehicles and providing luggage service. Key accountabilities include: * Always provide the highest quality of service to our guests and associates alike. * Accommodate guests by opening doors and assisting with luggage or other heavy items. * Direct traffic in the parking area as needed and assist guests in entering and leaving the parking area. * Collect and accurately label keys belonging to guests to ensure their proper return. * Park guests' vehicles in predetermined areas within the parking lot, following all traffic laws. * Operate vehicles safely and responsibility. * Maintain lobby, front door, valet stand, and luggage room cleanliness and order. * Market the entire hotel when rooming a guest. * Maintain complete knowledge of hotel amenities and layout, local attractions, and airport transportation. * Keep up to date on in-house groups and functions. * Issue proper luggage tags, stores bags properly, cross-reference when issuing. * Ensure deliveries/luggage are brought to correct rooms. * Always demonstrate a readiness to help. * Operate bell carts with care, so as not to damage property or cause injury. * Able to accurately give directions and information regarding the immediate and metro areas. * Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all emergency procedures. * Practice safety standards at all times, leading by example. YOUR STORY * An experienced professional with a minimum of one year of experience as a parking attendant in a similar operation or hotel property. * Someone with an outstanding work ethic, along with a track record of reliability, punctuality and an approachable demeanor, and a strong commitment to Safety. * Someone who places priority on providing guests with the best possible experiences, going above and beyond to ensure total satisfaction and guest loyalty. * Someone with a class 5 driver’s license and ability to drive both a manual and automatic transmission. * The holder of a clean driver’s abstract. * An exceptional problem-solver, knowing how to troubleshoot and resolve situations efficiently. * Able to work well under pressure and enjoy a fast-paced environment. * An excellent communicator who values teamwork and collaboration. * Able to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. * Physically able to frequently stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, crouch, and lift or carry objects up to 40 pounds or more.
