Description: The Imaging Attendant provides technical staff with general assistance in the preparation, planning and performance of procedures. This includes transporting patients and equipment, and providing preliminary screening and preparation for MRI, CT and Ultrasound patients. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 41 Collective Agreement. Classification: Imaging Attendant Union: COV CUPE 41 Unit and Program: Diagnostic Imaging Primary Location: Grey Nuns Community Hospital Location Details: As Per Location Multi-Site: Not Applicable FTE: 0.50 Posting End Date: 06-OCT-2026 Employee Class: Regular Part Time Date Available: 19-OCT-2026 Hours per Shift: 7.75 Length of Shift in weeks: 2 Shifts per cycle: 5 Shift Pattern: Days, Evenings, Weekends Days Off: As Per Rotation Minimum Salary: $21.11 Maximum Salary: $23.56 Vehicle Requirement: Not Applicable Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or recognized equivalent required. Medical Terminology certificate or recognized equivalent required. BLS (Level C - Health Care Provider) required. Additional Required Qualifications: Good interpersonal and public relations skills. Good communication skills (oral and written) in English language. Good judgement, initiative and cooperation. Formal Medical terminology course or successful completion of Diagnostic Imaging Medical. Terminology examination. Preferred Qualifications: One-year experience in a hospital patient care environment. Strong working knowledge of Diagnostic Imaging Department.

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma or recognized equivalent, a medical terminology certificate or equivalent, and BLS Level C for Health Care Providers. Applicants must have strong interpersonal, communication, judgment, initiative, and cooperation skills; one year of hospital patient care experience and diagnostic imaging department knowledge are preferred.
