Role Description The Registered Massage Therapist will provide therapeutic and sports-focused massage treatments to Crossfit NCR members on-site at the Ottawa, ON facility. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing clients’ needs, delivering appropriate massage techniques, maintaining accurate treatment notes, and collaborating with coaches to support recovery and performance. The RMT will help clients manage stress, prevent injuries, and enhance mobility through individualized treatment plans. This is a part-time, on-site role that may involve evening or weekend shifts based on member demand. Qualifications Strong Customer Service skills, including clear communication, professionalism, and a client-centered approach. Proficiency in Therapeutic Massage and Body Massage techniques for sports recovery and general wellness. Experience or training in Shiatsu or other specialized modalities to support different client needs. Ability to integrate Stress Management approaches within treatment plans. Current registration and good standing with the appropriate provincial regulatory body for massage therapy. Relevant diploma in Massage Therapy from an accredited institution. Knowledge of sports injuries, functional movement, and working with active populations is an asset. Ability to work independently, manage a schedule, and maintain a clean, safe treatment environment.
