The fellowships are intended for individuals who want to return to an area of cardiovascular research after a career break from research of two years or more. Applicants should have a PhD and preferably postdoctoral experience. About British Heart Foundation The British Heart Foundation (BHF) is the largest independent funder of cardiovascular research in the UK, supporting research into the causes, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Please see the Information For Researchers section of the BHF website to find out more about the research supported by the BHF or contact [email protected] if you have a query about the remit of your project.
