Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together The nurse will be responsible for providing vaccination during the annual flu campaign from October through December. Working with a customer service oriented team, you will provide a rewarding patient experience with empathy, discretion and professionalism. Here’s How Responsibilities include: Administer influenza vaccines to patients Informing patients of the side effects of vaccination Implementing emergency measures, as required Compile and inventory vaccines administered In depth knowledge of current guidelines, practice standards and medical directives Provide quality, safe, compassionate care to all clients Communicate and work effectively with all other members of the interdisciplinary team Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills Positive and results focused attitude Ability to take initiative and demonstrate proactive/preventative approaches to care Qualifications You have Bachelor’s degree in nursing Current registration and practice permit in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) CPR certification up to date Minimum of 3 years nursing experience (private or public sector) Ready to travel to the client site Valid driver’s license and have access to a car Interest in customer service and a corporate work environment Professionalism and strong judgment Assiduity, autonomy, punctuality, discretion, interpersonal skills Ability to make decisions Great-to-haves ACLS certification Previous experience in primary care or acute care is an asset Computer skills are an asset (EMR, Power Point, Excel, Word) By applying to this role, you understand and agree that your information will be shared with the TELUS Group of Companies’ Talent Acquisition team(s) and/or any leader(s) who will be part of the selection process.

Requirements
