Snack Bar Attendant

POSITION SUMMARY The Snack Bar Attendant is responsible for preparing, serving, and selling food and beverage items at the snack bar while providing excellent customer service. This role ensures a positive guest experience by maintaining cleanliness, adhering to health and safety standards, and supporting efficient food service operations. ---------------------------------------- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVICE * Prepare and serve snacks, beverages, and light meals according to company standards. * Operate cash registers, process payments accurately, and provide correct change. * Maintain knowledge of menu items and answer customer questions as needed. * Ensure timely service to guests, especially during peak periods. KITCHEN & SNACK BAR OPERATIONS * Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area at all times. * Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures. * Stock and replenish snack bar supplies, ingredients, and beverages as required. * Assist with inventory management and monitor product levels. * Report any equipment issues or supply shortages to the supervisor. CUSTOMER SERVICE & TEAMWORK * Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to guests. * Work collaboratively with other snack bar, lounge, and floor staff to support smooth operations. * Support a positive and safe work environment. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS * Previous food service or cashier experience preferred. * Food Handler Certification is an asset (or ability to obtain). * Smart Serve Certification * Ability to obtain and maintain an AGCO Gaming Assistant License. * Strong communication and customer service skills. * Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. * Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. * Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs. WORKING CONDITIONS * Snack bar environment within a gaming facility. * Exposure to food preparation equipment, hot surfaces, and noise. * Fast-paced service with peak hours during evenings and weekends.

The Snack Bar Attendant is responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages while processing customer payments. They must maintain a clean, sanitary work environment and ensure a positive guest experience through professional service.

Candidates should have previous food service or cashier experience and be able to obtain Food Handler, Smart Serve, and AGCO Gaming Assistant certifications. Physical ability to stand for long periods and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays are required.
