Note: This is a part-time Faculty position (up to 6 hours per week) starting September 8, 2026 and ending by December 21, 2026. Note: These positions are located at 1764 Oxford St E, London, ON N5V 3R6. Fanshawe College is seeking interested and qualified professionals to teach part-time in the Automotive Industries of Canada (AIA Canada), Electric Vehicle (EV) and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in the School of Manufacturing, Science, and Transportation. Why This Role Is Important Reporting to the Program Manager of School of Manufacturing, Science, and Transportation, part-time Professors are responsible for teaching courses within the Agriculture Equipment Technician apprenticeship program, John Deere extension apprenticeship program, and possibility early levels of Truck and Coach Technician program. Hired part-time faculty should develop an effective learning environment for students. What You'll Bring Must have Certificate of Qualification – 425A Agriculture Equipment Technician A Certificate of Qualification – 310T Truck and Coach Technician considered an asset Minimum 5 years of recent practical work experience An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success Excellent communicator Strong interpersonal skills Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners Strong technical/computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required Experience in formal teaching positions (i.e. Clinical instructors, teaching assistants, classroom leadership, etc.) an asset Proven ability to work in a team environment Related industry work experience, previous college teaching experience and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets Fanshawe College uses Workday to manage recruitment and hiring processes.
