They must also document client interactions, manage risks, and ensure a safe, supportive environment for children aged 0-17.

Shelter Counsellor

The Shelter Counsellor provides day-to-day support, safety planning, and case management for clients residing in a domestic violence shelter. Responsibilities include managing a client caseload, conducting danger assessments, and coordinating with community resources to help clients achieve violence-free lives.

Cook

The Shelter Cook is responsible for planning and preparing nutritious, high-quality meals that meet dietary needs and health regulations. This includes maintaining a clean kitchen environment and ensuring compliance with sanitation and accreditation standards.
