The Indigenous Elders Activity Worker implements and modifies wellness and social activities to meet the needs of clients while providing demonstrations and feedback. They also assist with client intake, maintain activity records, and transport passengers to scheduled program outings. Candidates must have a Grade 12 diploma and a recognized Activity Assistant Program or Care Attendant Certificate. Additionally, they require First Aid, CPR, and Food Safe certifications, along with a valid Class IV BC Driver's License.
