The Registered Nurse provides breastfeeding education and support to expectant and postpartum mothers while assessing and diagnosing lactation difficulties. They also maintain patient records and share clinical expertise with the broader healthcare team. Candidates must hold current registration as a Registered Nurse with the BCCNM and possess International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) certification. A minimum of two years of recent experience in neonatal or perinatal care is required.
