The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, and evaluating nursing interventions for critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit. They also act as a resource and mentor to acute care staff, facilitating clinical stabilization and patient transfers. Candidates must have current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BCCNM and at least two years of recent acute care experience in critical care or emergency nursing. Current BCLS or ACLS certification is also required for this position.
