The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to childbearing patients and their families during intra, postpartum, and high-risk antepartum periods. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing care plans, and collaborating with the inter-professional team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Candidates must be graduates of an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BCCNM. The role requires at least one year of recent perinatal nursing experience and current Basic Rescuer and Neonatal Resuscitation certificates.
