The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to childbearing patients and their families during intra, postpartum, and high-risk antepartum periods. They collaborate with the inter-professional team to assess, plan, and evaluate nursing care while ensuring patient safety and autonomy. Candidates must be graduates of an approved School of Nursing and hold current practicing registration with the BCCNM. The role requires at least one year of recent perinatal clinical experience and current Basic Rescuer and Neonatal Resuscitation certifications.
