The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse provides direct, person-centered nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. They collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop care plans, perform clinical interventions, and advocate for resident rights. Candidates must be graduates of an approved School of Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing and hold current registration with the BCCNM. One year of recent gerontological nursing experience and a current Level 1 First Aid certificate are required.
