The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, and evaluating nursing interventions for patients in acute cardiac units. They collaborate with an interprofessional team to ensure effective care delivery, discharge planning, and patient education. Candidates must be graduates of an approved School of Nursing with current BCCNM registration and a Basic Rescuer Certificate. The role requires at least one year of recent experience in cardiac monitoring or telemetry, along with specific post-basic cardiac or high acuity training.
