The Social Worker provides psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and supportive counselling to patients and families within an interdisciplinary acute care setting. They also facilitate access to community resources and participate in the development of comprehensive care plans. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an approved school and possess at least three years of recent, related clinical experience. Current full registration with the BC College of Social Workers is mandatory.
