The technician is responsible for cleaning, decontaminating, assembling, and sterilizing medical instruments and equipment for hospital use. They also maintain departmental inventory, perform clerical tasks, and ensure equipment is functioning correctly according to safety standards. Candidates must have a Grade 12 education and have completed a recognized Sterile Supply Processing program. At least one year of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education and training is required.
