Hourly wage from $18.34 - $19.52/hr We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Part time schedule: Saturdays 9am - 5pm / Saturday - Sunday 2pm - 8pm Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities for Bank Security Guard Maintain a visible security presence while monitoring the bank premises for suspicious or unusual activity Respond quickly and professionally to security incidents, emergencies, and potential threats Conduct regular foot patrols throughout the facility to ensure the safety and security of employees, customers, and the premises Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verifying identification and authorization when required Monitor security systems, alarms, cameras, and other security equipment for potential issues or security concerns Complete detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation Provide professional and courteous customer service while assisting employees and visitors with security-related inquiries Liaise with bank management, emergency services, and law enforcement when required Identify and report potential security risks, hazards, equipment issues, or vulnerabilities Perform other security-related duties as required Qualifications for Bank Security Guard Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid BC security license First aid certification - an asset Strong report writing skills Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus Strong proficiency with technology Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
