Competitive hourly wage of $23.85 plus comprehensive benefits Shared-cost parking arrangement available for airport staff Paid training and continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Consistent weekend shifts Career growth opportunities within GardaWorld Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities For CBSA Security Guard Ensure the safety and security of individuals, property, and assets within the CBSA airport facility Escort detainees within the premises using restraints when required Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and composure when interacting with individuals under stress Observe, monitor, and report detainee behaviour and safety concerns Conduct regular indoor and outdoor foot patrols Perform frequent wellness and safety checks Operate security systems, software, and equipment effectively Respond promptly to emergency situations using tactical communication and de-escalation techniques Complete clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports Required Qualifications Valid Ontario Security Guard License Valid First Aid and CPR certification Advanced Security Training (AST) – considered an asset Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident with a minimum of 5 years residency in Canada High school diploma or equivalent (proof required) Ability to successfully obtain Public Works Clearance and Vulnerable Sector Check Minimum 1 year of experience in a tactical security role Strong ability to remain calm, decisive, and professional in high-pressure environments Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills This posting is for a position that is currently vacant within the organization At GardaWorld, 26% of our corporate employees began their careers as frontline workers. What you’ll do

Requirements

Candidates must hold a valid Ontario Security Guard License, First Aid and CPR certification, and have at least one year of tactical security experience. Applicants must also be Canadian citizens or permanent residents with five years of residency and be able to obtain security clearance.
