Job summary
We are looking for a positive, respectful and responsible clinical assistant (RDA or OAP only) who has working experience in an orthodontic practice. This is a part time position. 2 days/week and future increases to more working days. Job duties: - Assist or work independently under supervision of the Orthodontist in clinical care of patients - Take diagnostic records including ceph/pano/photos/digital scans/CBCT - Perform proper infection control techniques in keeping clinical area safe for patients and staff members - Sterilize instruments and perform normal equipments maintenance - Responsible with laboratory duties such as sending out digital lab orders or 3D printing of clear retainers - Keeping practice clean and organized - Inventory management - Scheduling patients - Assist in community outreach /marketing events - Assist in front office duties - Takes after hour emergency calls A successful candidate should have current CA Dental board-approved 8-hour Infection Control certificate, BLS certificate, Dental Practice Act, Radiation Safety certificates, active RDA certificate or OAP certificate.
