The focus of this position is in the area of Surgical Services and Ambulatory Care Programs. The incumbent will also provide care in the Emergency Room and inpatient units as required. Human Resources Exemption: No Education * Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) * Perioperative Nursing certificate Other Education and Training * Community Oncology Program of Saskatchewan trained * Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS) * Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) * Nursing diploma is acceptable * Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale certificate (CTAS) * Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Other Information * Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) * For more information on the town of Nipawin please visit http://www.nipawin.com/ * Nipawin is located approximately 93 km northeast of Melfort * May be eligible for Recruitment and/or Retention Incentives Additional Comment * No guaranteed hours. Must be Available a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours per 3 week period. Must be available all shifts, short shifts, short notice calls, stats and holidays, where applicable.
