Shifts may vary from mornings to evenings to overnights and every other weekend. Need to have 2 plus years experience. The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following: * Provide personal care * Drivers license and reliable car are mandatory for this position. * Providing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support * Provide behavior support and crisis intervention * Maintaining open communication with client and their family * Monitoring care plan and adding documentation with any changes and updates * Responding to all emergency situations * All other duties, as assigned * Follow Care Plan * ADL's * Clear and detailed care notes Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to: * PSW certification *required * Valid First Aid/CPR certificate * Completion of a Police Vulnerable Sector Check within last 6 months * CPI training is an asset** * Drivers License and own insured vehicle is mandatory * Satisfactory professional references * Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions * Must be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact in handling confidential matters Please submit the appropriate documents for review. The successful candidate will provide personal care, cognitive, and emotional support to community clients while maintaining detailed care notes. Responsibilities also include monitoring care plans, responding to emergencies, and providing behavior support.

Candidates must hold a PSW certification, valid First Aid/CPR certificate, and a Police Vulnerable Sector Check. A valid driver's license and a reliable, insured vehicle are mandatory for this role.
