Responsibilities Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors in their homes, fostering trust and positive relationships Assist clients with daily living activities such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands Accompany clients to appointments, social outings, and community activities Monitor and report changes in client health, mood, or behavior to the care team Engage clients in meaningful conversation, hobbies, and recreational activities to promote mental well-being Provide respite support to family caregivers as needed Maintain accurate client care records and documentation in accordance with company standards Requirements Previous experience in a caregiving, companion care, or personal support role is an asset Genuine passion for working with seniors and elderly individuals Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a professional attitude Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle considered an asset Ability to pass the DEARS (Drugs and Ethics) assessment. Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking) Current First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain Clear criminal background check and vulnerable sector screening required Comprehensive initial training provided.
