Greek-Speaking Care Professional - Surrey Home Instead - Richmond, Surrey & North Delta Applicants must be available to work at least one weekend day each week, either Saturday or Sunday. Are you a compassionate and dependable caregiver who speaks Greek? Home Instead is looking for a caring Greek-speaking Care Professional to support seniors in Surrey and help them remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. This is a meaningful opportunity to build positive relationships with seniors while providing personalized, one-on-one care. Responsibilities Your responsibilities may include: Providing companionship and meaningful conversation Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping Providing medication reminders Accompanying clients to appointments and errands Supporting clients with mobility and daily routines Providing specialized support for clients living with dementia or Alzheimer’s Documenting completed care and reporting any changes or concerns Requirements Successful applicants must: Speak Greek fluently or conversationally Be compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful Have previous caregiving or personal care experience Be comfortable assisting with personal care and mobility Be legally eligible to work in Canada Be able to provide a clear criminal record check Have a valid Class 5 driver’s license Have access to a reliable vehicle Carry business-use vehicle insurance Be able to provide a clean driver’s abstract Be available to work at least one weekend day each week Maintain consistent availability during the first three months of employment CPR and First Aid certification are considered an asset.
