Reporting to the Head Waiter, the server is responsible for providing quality service to customers in a dining establishment. You will be the main interface between customers and the kitchen, ensuring they have a pleasant and satisfying experience. Here are the main tasks associated with this position: Key Responsibilities: Greet and seat customers in a professional manner. Take orders accurately and provide recommendations if necessary. Serve dishes and beverages efficiently. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing their needs and resolving any issues. Maintain cleanliness of tables, utensils, and the dining area. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure the speed and accuracy of orders. Handle payments and transactions accurately. Familiarity with the menu, specials, and modifications to dishes. Adherence to hygiene and food safety standards. Qualifications and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment. Attention to detail and customer orientation. Ability to remain calm under pressure. Basic knowledge of customer service principles. Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends. Previous experience as a server is an asset. Training in customer service or hospitality is appreciated. Adherence to hygiene and food safety rules. Languages: Bilingualism (French and English), both spoken and written, is required for this position as we serve an international clientele.
