It is renowned for its outstanding professionals and features, including squash courts, tennis courts, state of the art weight and cardio machines, classes, a golf simulator and fully staffed children’s play zone staff. Job Summary The Play Centre is an added benefit for TEN X TORONTO members and Hotel guests. As such, the Play Centre Attendant is directly responsible for the safety and enjoyment of the children in the play center. This role requires availability from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday through Sunday. Role and Responsibilities * Monitoring the activities of the children and making sure safety is enforced at all times * Engaging the children in fun and appropriate activities for their age * Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions using established procedures and software * Addresses and responds to all member and guest questions, comments and concern * Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per club procedures to ensure excellent quality and service * Participate in club and community events as needed. Qualifications * Early Childhood Education Certificate required. * Minimum 1 year of experience working in childcare centers or with children. * Experience working with CSI/Daxko membership software preferred. * Advanced computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email). * Must have excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills and must be able to interact with all levels of guests in a professional and cordial manner. * Exceptional organizational/problem-solving skills must be self-motivated and very detail-oriented. * Flexible shift availability including evenings, weekends and holidays. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the club.
